How To Get to Jhansi

However a Greenfield airport is in the pipeline, with which there will be excellent connectivity between Jhansi and major metros and cities. Today, the nearest operational airport to Jhansi is the Gwalior airport, which is 98km from Jhansi. Jhansi is a big rail junction of central India which is connected to many major cities by direct train links. The railway station of Jhansi is found near Sipri Bazaar where ticket reservation is computerized, and can also be done in the railway station. Tickets can also be bought using the online reservation facility of Jhansi railway station. There are auto rickshaws and tempos near the station, which can be taken to most parts of the city. However make sure you make negotiations on fare, before hiring one.
